Driving school covering Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Newmarket and local villages.
Why should you use an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) to teach you to drive?
As the directgov web site states:
“Nine out of ten learners who passed the practical test on their first attempt were taught by an ADI.
If you're going to pay someone to teach you to drive, they MUST be an ADI or hold a trainee licence.
It's unlikely that anyone except an ADI would have the experience, knowledge and
training to teach you properly.”
It is Ian’s goal to ensure that, not only do you reach the necessary level of driving skill to pass your test, you do so with confidence and with a respect for the responsibilities needed to drive safely on our busy roads.
Ian also takes great pride in his driving and as well as being qualified as a Police Advanced Driver, Ian has twice passed the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test at Gold standard
Ian is a Grade 6 Instructor, the highest grade possible. See the directgov web site for more information on the ADI grading system.
Ian first qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor in 1998, trading as PASSMASTER SCHOOL OF MOTORING.
Having helped many learner drivers to gain their full driving licences, Ian took on the challenges to become a fully qualified Police Driving Instructor in Cambridgeshire in 2008.
During this time, Ian greatly developed his teaching and coaching skills in order to get the very best level of ability from each individual student.
He has now returned to driving instructing in the civilian world with these new skills and he feels the new name, A GRADE, reflects his passion to coach all drivers to the very best of their ability.
Now the holder of BTEC Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Driver Education.
Keen to maintain his own development over and above DSA requirements, Ian has been awarded the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Driver Education in recognition of his driver training achievements.
